By default, the Siebel Open UI client shows the Side Menu icon for navigation control in the Siebel application. This navigation option allows you to access screens from the Side Menu icon, views from the second level view bar and third level view bar, and subviews from the fourth level subview bar. For more information about the Side Menu, see About the Side Menu.
The other available navigation options are tab format and tree format.
If you select the tab format for the navigation option, then:
Screen names appear in screen tabs at the top of the screen.
View names in the second level view bar appear in a link bar under the screen tabs.
More view names in the third level view bar appear in view tabs lower on the screen.
Subview names in the fourth level subview bar appear in a link bar under the view tabs lower on the screen.
If you select the tree format for the navigation option, then:
Screen names appear in tree format on the left side of the screen.
View names in the second level view bar appear under the screen names.
More view names in the third level view bar appear in view tabs lower on the screen.
Subview names in the fourth level subview bar appear when you hover the curser over a view tab lower on the screen.
If you are left-handed, then you can select the tree format so that you can more easily access screens and views.
