About the Menu Toolbar

The menu toolbar (shown in Figure: Siebel Application Banner) is located on the application banner at the top right side of the application window.

The following list describes the areas of the menu toolbar (shown in Figure: Siebel Application Menu Toolbar), from left to right:

1. The Saved Queries drop-down list. Click the down arrow in the drop-down list to access contextual saved queries. For more information, see About the Saved Queries Drop-Down List.

2. The Magnifying Glass (Search) icon. Click this icon to open the query control. For more information, see About the Query Control.

3. Share (or Send) icon. Click this icon to send email messages, faxes, pages, and outbound wireless messages. For more information, see About Sending Messages.

4. The Communications icon. Click this icon to open the communications panel. For more information, see Accessing the Communications Panel.

5. The Notification icon. Click this icon to open the Notification Summary pane. For more information, see Reviewing Notifications.

6. The Settings icon. Click this icon to change your application behavior settings, such as the startup view, navigation control, UI theme, and view transition, or to logout. For more information about configuring the application behavior settings, see Setting User Preferences.
